I am an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance at Politecnico di Milano (Polytechnic of Milan), Italy.  I completed my PhD in Management Engineering in November 2022, concluding a joint doctoral program between Politecnico di Milano and Ghent University (Belgium).  

My research focuses on three main areas of entrepreneurial finance.

• I study the determinants of entrepreneurial ventures' valuation, investigating how financing events, investor characteristics, and exit pathways shape startup valuation and its path dependency.

• I examine how financing channels shape organization and human capital in funded ventures, including founders, CEOs, and top management teams. My research explores how different investors (VC, PE) influence hiring, leadership changes, and people (founders and employees) mobility throughout the startup lifecycle.

• I study Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) and corporate investments in emerging technologies, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
